How do I set up Multi-Factor Authentication in EveryAction?

Follow the steps below to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on your Bonterra Account. You can verify your identity using a code sent to your phone or a code generated by an authenticator app — choose whichever method works best for you.

Step 1: Open the Bonterra Account Center

From the EveryAction home page, click your name in the upper-right corner and select My Settings. Under Account Details, click the Manage my Bonterra Account link.

Step 2: Open your Two-Factor Authentication settings

Navigate to the Two-Factor Authentication section in your account settings.

Step 3: Choose your verification method and complete setup

Select one of the two options below and follow the steps for your chosen method.

Option A: Set up with your phone number

1. Confirm that the phone number shown for your Bonterra Account is correct.
2. Click Send Code.
3. Enter the verification code sent to your phone.
4. Click Verify.
5. Save your account recovery code somewhere safe — you will need it if you ever lose access to your phone.

MFA is now enabled. The next time you log in, a code will be texted to your phone after you enter your email and password.

Option B: Set up with an authenticator app

1. Download an authenticator app on your mobile device. Most common authenticator apps work with Bonterra Account, including LastPass and Authy.
2. Open the authenticator app and scan the QR code displayed on your screen.
3. Check the app — it will show a verification code.
4. Enter that code in the Verification Code field on your screen.
5. Click Enable.
6. Save your account recovery code somewhere safe — you will need it if you ever lose access to your device.

MFA is now enabled. Each time you log in, you will open your authenticator app to get your current code. You will be asked to verify once every 30 days, or when you use a new browser or device.
