Now that the U.S. Census Bureau has released population counts from the 2020 Census, each state will use this data in the redrawing of congressional and state legislative district boundaries (redistricting) to be used in future elections.
Since the redistricting efforts for every state will follow different timelines, the availability of the new district information will vary by state. As soon as our data vendor releases new district data to us for each state, we will display both the old and new district information on your contact records.
To find out which states have been recently populated, you can download the list below. This list will be updated whenever we add new state district information in our databases, so keep checking back if you do not see your state listed yet.
Our partner sites, including VoteBuilder, America Votes, and State Voices, all source data from different vendors. Since these are updated through a different process, you may not see district changes happening on the same day in all your databases. Please contact your administrators with any questions about changes to districts on those sites.
Keep watching this space! As we add new states to the list, this link will be updated.
