Our Voter Registration feature helps you manage your efforts to register voters and automatically tracks their status in your records. It is available to organizations that have purchased a package that includes the Voter Reg state. Contact your national or local administrator or reach out to our support team if you need this enabled.
Using this feature, contact information from the people you are registering can be added to the Voter Reg state (sometimes referred to as a tab) and assigned to a Batch. When you mark the Batch as Ready, the records from your batch will be matched to those in My Voters via an overnight process. You will be able to see results the next day in your My Voters records.
How you can use Voter Registration
With the Voter Registration feature, you can:

get the big-picture view of how your voter registration program is doing with the Voter Registration Landing Page

load your voter registration applicants and pledges into Voter Reg

review which records moved from Voter Reg to My Voters using three available reports

identify reasons that records did not match to My Voters

track metadata on applicant records in Voter Reg and see how it flows to My Voters

understand who is collecting the data

compare the address the voter used on their registration form versus the address on their voter file record
Using the Voter Registration Landing Page
From the Voter Registration Landing Page, you'll see a graphical display of your Voter Registration program performance as well as quick access to data entry tools, batch history, recent contacts, follow up actions, and reports.
To set this as your home page, navigate to Voter Reg > click Your Name in the top right corner > Manage Profile > Home Page > select Voter Reg.
Viewing results
There are three reports included with this feature which can help you track the status of your voters:
- Voter Registration Status Report - helps monitor where voter registration applicants are in the registration process
- Registration Pending Report - tracks how long your applicants have been pending before officially appearing on the respective state voter file
- Not Enough Information Report - provides insight into why incomplete records were not added to My Voters
You can also create specialized searches based on voter registration in Create A List using the Voter Status and Voter Registration section.
