How do I preview Online Actions forms on my Weebly site?

Overview 

Before officially launching your website, you can preview how your Online Actions forms will appear within your Weebly site's design by using a special URL format with query strings. 

Step 1: Find your form ID 

1. Go to your Online Actions form in your database 

2. Look at the URL of your form 

3. Copy the form ID, which appears after the last forward slash 

   • For example, in the URL https://secure.everyaction.com/MeIdy9Aa6UKpRmuIrRe3Ly2, the form ID is MeIdy9Aa6UKpRmuIrRe3Ly2 

Step 2: Create the preview URL 

1. Start with your Weebly site's URL 

2. Add "/forms.html?formid=" to the end 

3. Paste the form ID you copied after the equal sign 

4. The complete URL should look like: https://your-weebly-site.com/forms.html?formid=MeIdy9Aa6UKpRmuIrRe3Ly2 
    

Step 3: Preview the form 

1. Paste the complete URL into your browser's address bar 

2. Press Enter to load the page 

3. You should now see your Online Actions form displayed with your Weebly site's styling 

4. Test the form to ensure it appears correctly across different devices 

Step 4: Adjust as needed 

1. If you need to adjust the form appearance: 

   1. Return to your Weebly site editor to modify the forms.html page styling 

   2. Use Online Actions Design options to adjust form-specific elements 

2. Refresh your preview URL after making changes to see the updated appearance 

3. Continue this process until you're satisfied with how your forms look on your site
