Building Your First Zap
Create automated workflows between your database and other applications to streamline your data management.
Step 1: Access Zapier

Visit the appropriate Zapier page for your database:

For EveryAction: Visit the EveryAction Zapier page

Sign in to your Zapier account (or create a free account if you don't have one)
Step 2: Select your trigger app

Choose an app that will trigger your workflow

Google Sheets is a good starting point if you're new to Zapier

Select the specific trigger event (e.g., "New Spreadsheet Row" in Google Sheets)

Connect and authenticate your trigger app account if prompted
Note: You must use another app as a trigger before you can send data to EveryAction.
Step 3: Add your database action

Click the "+" icon to add an action step

Search for and select either "EveryAction"

Choose the action you want to perform in your database (e.g., "Create Contact")

Click "Continue" to proceed with setup
Step 4: Turn on your Zap

Complete all required setup steps (authentication and field mapping)

Test your Zap to ensure it works correctly

Toggle the switch at the top or bottom of the workspace page to activate your Zap
