Setting Up Data Mapping

Map the fields from your trigger app to the correct fields in your EveryAction database to ensure data is properly transferred.

Step 1: Access the field mapping screen

  1. In your Zap setup, after authentication, you'll reach the field mapping step

  1. You'll see a list of fields required or available for your chosen database action

Step 2: Map your trigger data

  1. For each database field, click the dropdown menu or the "+" icon

  1. Select the corresponding field from your trigger app

  1. For example, map the "First Name" field from your Google Sheet to the "First Name" field in your database

  1. Continue mapping all required fields and any optional fields you want to include

Step 3: Test your field mapping

  1. Click the "Test & Continue" or "Test & Review" button

  1. Zapier will run a test using your mapped fields

  1. Review the test results to ensure data is mapping correctly

  1. Adjust the mapping if necessary

Step 4: Finalize your field mapping

  1. Verify all required fields are properly mapped

  1. Confirm any custom fields are correctly mapped

  1. Save your mapping configuration

  1. Proceed to the final steps of your Zap setup
