Getting Started
To access Direct Mail Acquisition Plans, search for "Direct Response Plans" in the Sidebar or select "View All" in the Direct Response section of your Fundraising Management dashboard. Create a plan by selecting "Create A Plan" and choosing "Direct Mail - Acquisition Plan" from the dropdown menu.

Direct Mail Acquisition Plans help you manage and optimize your direct mail acquisition efforts by allowing you to compare campaigns and determine the most effective list segmentation and messaging strategies. This feature enables you to build detailed audience segments, track source codes, manage budgets and projections, and coordinate with vendors. You can upload packages from your design team, link them to specific list segments, and measure both immediate response rates and long-term donor value. The platform allows you to monitor ROI for each mailing and make data-driven decisions to improve your acquisition program results over time.

Tracking Your Success / Reporting
Monitor the success of your Direct Mail Acquisition Plans using the Acquisition ROI Report in the Report Manager to track responses to your efforts. The Long-Term Value Report helps track the value of donors acquired through your acquisition efforts - use the "Group By > Origin Contact Type" option to view specific Direct Mail results. Additionally, the Budgets & Projections information entered during plan creation can be monitored from the Direct Response sections of your Fundraising Management dashboard.
