When running your GOTV operations, it’s often essential to provide voters with polling, early vote, and absentee location information so they know where they can vote. We make it easy to include this information in your phone banks and canvasses so your volunteers can relay this information.
On most sites, polling and early voting locations can be bulk uploaded by administrators. If you have questions about the locations currently in the system, when the locations will be updated, or the source of the data, please reach out to your admin. Additionally, if you do not see the options described below when setting up your GOTV efforts, please Submit a Support Request and ask to have them added.
Displaying locations in Virtual Phone Banks
On the Display Settings for your Virtual Phone Bank, check the polling location or early/absentee voting location boxes under Contact & Location information (right side). Remember that if you are updating an existing phone bank, you will need to Send to Round 2 for callers to see these changes.
If you don't see checkboxes for polling information under Contact & Location Information, submit a Support Request to make it available for Virtual Phone Bank.
Displaying locations in MiniVAN
On your MiniVAN Format, select the polling location or early/absentee voting location options in the Person Fields dropdown. Remember that if you are updating a format for an existing MiniVAN Campaign, you will need to generate a new list number and have canvassers use the new one in order to see the changes in MiniVAN.
If you don't see polling location information in the dropdown, submit a Support Request to make it available for MiniVAN.
Displaying locations on printed lists
On your Report Format, Edit Layout > drag and drop the polling location or early/absentee voting location options under Field Formatter. Remember that the values displayed are sample data and you can hover over each value to see which field it is.
