Step 1: Start the password setup or reset process
On the login page, click 'Forgot Password'.
Step 2: Enter your email
Enter the email address associated with your Apricot login and click 'Reset Password'.
Follow the prompts to verify your identity and continue the password setup process.
Step 3: Check your email
Check your email for a message with instructions to verify your identity and continue setting your password.
Be sure to check your junk and spam folders for the email. If it shows up in either, you can mark the email as 'not spam' to prevent future emails from going into those folders.
Once you receive the email, click the password reset link to access Apricot.
Note: If you have access to multiple databases, your email address will be used to access all associated organizations after logging in.
Follow the steps listed below to change your password within Apricot, such as after a password reset.
Step 1: Access the Password Details page
If you are already logged in, you can update your password from within Apricot using the steps below.
At the top of any Apricot page, hover over the arrow next to your name and select 'Change Password'. You will be directed to the Password Details page to update your password.
Step 2: Create a new password
When creating a password, follow the on-screen requirements. These may include:

Is a minimum length of 12 characters

Has at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one symbol, and one number

Does not reuse the last 24 passwords

Must be reset at least every 365 days
Step 3: Save your changes
Once you've entered your new password, select 'Change Password" to save the changes.
