How to Export Data from EveryAction to Transaction Pro
Step 1: Generate a QuickBooks Contributions Report
Navigate to Report Manager in EveryAction and search for 'QuickBooks Contributions Report'. From there, apply any necessary filters (Date Received, Contact Name, Payment Method, Bank Account) and then review the report to ensure it contains the data you need.
Step 2: Export the Report as a CSV File
Next, click the Export As... dropdown menu and select Comma-separated value (.CSV). Then, save the file to your computer.
Note: When uploading your CSV file to Transaction Pro:
- Choose the import type Receive Payments
- Follow Transaction Pro's prompts to map fields
- Complete the import process
This ensures contributions are imported correctly into QuickBooks Online.
What Data is Included in the Export?
The QuickBooks Contributions Report includes:
- Contribution ID (RefNumber)
- Date Received (TxnDate)
- Online Reference Number or Check Number (PaymentRefNumber)
- Contact Name (Customer)
- Payment Method
- Bank Account (DepositToAccount)
- Invoice Number (InvoiceApplyTo)
- Amount Remaining (LineAmount)
- Notes (PrivateNote)
- Processed Currency (Currency)
The report includes contributions with Financial Batch information, Deposit Date information, and Deposit Number information. ActBlue Pending contributions are excluded.
