Use this when you want to fix or clarify one phone number. Start from a contact record you already have open. Device Type can be set in the Contact Record.
Steps

Locate the phone number in the Phones section.

Open the edit option for that phone number by clicking the > button.

Where you see the three dots, choose edit phones.

Update the Device Type value.

Click Save & Close to save your changes.
Available values:

Landline
-
Cell
-
VoIP
-
Fax
-
Unknown
