How do I create an Optimized Form in Que?

 

Looking to use Que to create an Optimized Form? Check out this video that walks you through Donation Form Creation.

 

 

Step 1: Open Bonterra Que

 

From your EveryAction dashboard, click the Ask Que icon to launch the assistant.

 

Step 2: Request a Donation Form

In the chat, type your request with as much context as possible. The more detail you give, like the campaign purpose, target donor segment, preferred branding, or fundraising goal, the more personalized your form will be.

Tip: You can also upload a campaign context document (such as a campaign brief or talking points) along with your request. Que will use that content to generate a more relevant, on-brand form description automatically.

Try prompts like:

  • Create a donation form for our 3-day wetlands campaign. Use one-time and monthly ask options and a strong environmental theme.

  • I need a contribution form for our fall clothing drive. Set default ask amounts at $25, $50, $100, $150, and $200, and emphasize recurring gifts.

  • Create a donation form for our year-end giving campaign. Include only a one-time gift option and emphasize impact before December 31. Use cheerful messaging.

Que will generate a complete donation form draft using best practices and your organization's brand voice. 

 

Step 3: Preview the Form

Use natural language prompts in chat to make updates in real-time, no need to jump into Online Actions for most edits. Que will walk you through step-by-step of making your Optimized Donation Form.

Here’s how the workflow will prompt you:

Design & Copy Adjust colors, tone, and messaging using plain language. 

Ask Amounts Set separate ask arrays for one-time and monthly giving so each experience feels tailored to the donor's intent.

Progress Bar Add a fundraising progress bar to motivate donors by showing how close you are to your campaign goal. If you mentioned a campaign goal in your initial prompt, Que may suggest adding one automatically.

Branding & Imagery Upload images directly to your form using the plus icon in the text box to reinforce your campaign's story and strengthen donor connection. After generating your initial draft, Que will proactively prompt you to upload a header image if you haven't already.

Tracking Codes Apply Source Codes and Activist Codes to your form within chat to ensure accurate campaign tracking and attribution. Follow the prompt to select the codes from the dropdown, then select Done to add them to your form.

Adding Email Addresses for Confirmation Emails Add the email addresses to be used to send confirmation email receipts to your supporters. Please answer the thee following inputs in the chat:

  1. What name should be used as the “Sender” for the confirmation emails?

  2. From what email address should the email be sent?

  3. To what email addresses should email responses be sent?

Confirmation Email Review and edit your thank you and confirmation messages directly in chat. Changes are saved back to Online Actions automatically. Your confirmation email will also appear as a separate asset in the chat preview, so you can review both the form and the post-donation experience side by side.

 

Step 5: Save or Publish Your Form

Once you're satisfied with your form, you can publish directly from the Que chat, no need to navigate to Online Actions. When the critical path steps are complete, Que will proactively prompt you to publish. Simply confirm in chat and your form will go live.

Forms are also auto-saved as drafts in Online Actions at every stage, so you can always return to edit or review before publishing.

 

Step 6: Embed Code

If you would like an embed snippet, Que will generate one for you to copy and paste.
