How do I create a Donor Note with Que?
Want to log a donor interaction without navigating away from what you're doing? Bonterra Que can generate and save a structured note directly to a donor's profile in Network for Good, all from a simple, conversational prompt.
Step 1: Open Bonterra Que
From your Network for Good dashboard, click the Ask Que button. This opens the assistant in a chat window.
Step 2: Ask Que to Log a Donor Note
Use natural language, or your phone's voice feature, to describe the interaction you want to document.
Try prompts like:

Add a note for Sarah Johnson that she's interested in volunteering at our annual gala.

Log a note from my call with Michael today about his planned gift.

Save a note for Tom Rivera, we met for lunch, he's interested in the capital campaign, follow up in 30 days.

Add a note that Lisa wants to increase her annual gift next year.
Tip: Include the donor's name, the date or context of the interaction, key takeaways, and any follow-up actions to get the most useful note.
Step 3: Confirm the Donor
Que will identify the donor based on the name you provided. If multiple contacts share the same name, Que will ask you to clarify, for example, by confirming their email address or location, before saving anything.
Step 4: Save and Pin the Note
Once Que confirms the donor, it will generate the note and prompt you to save it. You'll also have the option to pin the note to the top of the donor's profile, making it the first thing anyone sees when they open that record. If you skip pinning, the note will still appear in the donor's Notes section.
