Is there an Idea Bank?

Hi ​@sfioribello! This is a great suggestion. We do have a place where you can submit feedback that goes directly to our product team. In the bottom left hand corner of your software, there’s an area that says “provide feedback.” I wonder if in the meantime, it would be helpful to create an automation that assigns a follow up to yourself each time a DAF makes a donation and keep track that way? I’ll keep brainstorming some other work arounds. 

Thanks. I will definitely provide feedback. That was just one example though. Sometimes we are soft crediting the owner of Wholey owned businesses, or perhaps the main record of a business with multiple locations. There are a lot of scenarios where might need to soft credit every gift made from one contact to another contact. Writing automations for every single one could possibly get unwieldly but will likely have to be the workaround.

I haven’t started exploring automation of Solicitor/Fundraiser credit. We have lots of contacts who are automatically given assigned fundraiser credit for specific events, business, etc. A different type of credit but basically the same issue.

I love the idea of an Idea Bank, or even a dedicated sub=forum in the EveryAction Community where product ideas can be surfaced, discussed, and even (maybe?) voted upon. Over the last 7 years I’ve submitted a lot of product ideas via the Product Feedback link from the dashboard, but I’m not sure how I would see all the feedback in one place, plus whether it’s been put into production. 

For what it’s worth, I think more visibility in this area would be productive and healthy!
