Electronic Funds Transfer Settlement Date No Longer Showing

I used the settlement date to reconcile with finance for EFT since they can take a few days to a week to deposit to the bank. Recently (as of 10/3), I have not seen the settlement date on EFT donations made through the online form. We use Paragon Payment as our Payment Gateway.

Thanks for raising this! You’re absolutely right that EFT/ACH gifts can take longer to settle than card transactions. Settlement can take a few days to about a week. Using the Settlement Date for reconciliation is a solid approach.

Since you’re not seeing a Settlement Date on EFT donations from online forms as of 10/3 and you’re using Paragon Payment as the gateway, Support should review specific examples.

If this is still occurring, please open a Support ticket and include a few recent examples. Helpful details to include:

  • Contribution ID (s)

Once we have those, the team can investigate and get you a definitive answer. Thanks!
