I just held an event and want to indicate that my ticket purchases attended and also assign me attendees an activist code. What is the easiest way to do that?

Hi there! Great question. To mark event attendees as having attended and assign activist codes, here's the easiest way:

Bulk Update Attendee Status

  1. Navigate to your event's Participants List page
  2. Use the search feature to filter for the ticket purchasers you want to mark as attended
  3. Select all relevant attendees using the checkboxes
  4. Use the Mark All option to change their status to Completed

Assign Activist Codes

After marking attendance, you can assign activist codes to these attendees:

  1. From the same participant list, select the attendees again
  2. Use the bulk action option to apply an Activist Code to all selected contacts
  3. If you need to create a new Activist Code first:
    • Go to Administration Menu > Codes-Questions-Scripts > Activist Codes
    • Select Add New Activist Code
    • Choose an appropriate Activist Code Type for your event

Note: When a person's Event Status is marked as Completed, they will automatically receive any engagement points you've associated with event attendance, which can help with tracking engagement levels .

Activist Codes are useful labels that allow you to track groups of individuals based on their participation and interests, making them valuable for future targeting and reporting.
