How to update year-end gift receipts?

Hello! I feel so silly asking this because I am sure there is a simple answer...yet somehow I cannot find it today. 

 

I am trying to send out Year-End Receipts to our donors now that we have all of our check donations in the system. However, when I go into the donor profile it only allows me to send the letter from 2024 and I am having trouble remembering how I created such letter to add a new one for 2025. I remember uploading this letter at some point but can't find where this is done in the system.

Can someone help me to find where these particular type of letters/emails live on the platform so that I can upload or create a new one for 2025?

Hi ​@Dalila, I believe that email in the drop-down is any Targeted Email that contains the Merge Field “Year End Gift Receipt.” So just create a new Targeted Email with that Merge Field and send it (can be to just yourself) with any additional language you want, and you’ll be able to select the 2025 Year End Gift receipt email one by one from donor profiles. 

I suspect the original use case for this design was that nonprofits would send an email to all of their donors using Targeted Email that includes the year-end gift receipt, and that this link from the profile was meant to make it easy to re-send in case people lost that email and asked on April 14 for it to be re-sent. 😊
