Reassign contribution to another contact

Is there a way to reassign a contribution to a different contact without deleting the contribution? For instance, if I misapplied a DAF contribution to a donor’s contact record (instead of a DAF provider with a soft-credit to that contributor) can I reassign the contribution without deleting and re-entering it?

Hi ​@awilder.sisu - I’ve looked into this and I don’t think you can reassign a contribution to a different contact. You can reassign the attribution, but not change the actual contact itself. I think you’ll have to delete the contribution and re-enter it. 

I guess it’s possible that EveryAction support could do something on the back end that isn’t possible through the UI or bulk uploader (edit contributions), but I’ll let them speak to whether that’s possible.
