What does "New Contacts" mean in my email performance dashboard?

Is that the built-in widget that comes with the default Email Performance Dashboard? Mine doesn’t have that same “new contacts” metric. I’m more used to seeing “new contacts” in the context of an Online Activity Report or widget. I don’t see a column for “new contacts” in the Email Performance Dashboard, so I’m not sure how that would be showing up there. 

If you can shed more detail on which dashboard and which widget, we might be able to figure this out, but right now all I have for you is more questions. :D

Hi Sally! Thanks for your clarifying question - this was on my homepage dashboard where you can toggle between “Fundraising Summary”, “Email Performance”, “Online Activity”, etc. I also don’t see “New Contacts” on the email dashboard which is why I am feeling so confused by the metric. 

Hey ​@liz harney - okay, thanks for that information! I’ve looked at it and that number for “New Contacts” corresponds to the same number for “Conversions” in the Email Performance Report. 

However, these can’t be new contacts so I wonder if it’s just mislabeled in the homepage dashboard widget and should be labeled Conversions instead. I’m tagging some Bonterrans to see if they can confirm. ​@Liz Ragland ​@Charles Case
