How do I delete a grant plan?

Deleting grant plans 

You may need to delete a grant plan that was created in error, but there are limitations. 

Step 1: Check if deletion is possible 

1. You can only delete a grant if it has NONE of the following: 

   1. Deliverables

   2. Follow-ups 

   3. Contact History 

   4. Notes 

   5. Attachments 

   6. Pledges 

Step 2: Use proper closure method for active grants 

1. For withdrawn proposals or unfunded grants, use: 

   1. Edit Grant > Results to record that information 

   2. This maintains your records while closing the grant properly 

Step 3: Delete the grant (if eligible) 

1. If the grant meets deletion criteria, navigate to the Grant details page 

2. Click "More" in the upper right 

3. Select "Delete" from the dropdown 

4. Confirm the deletion when prompted
