Our organization would love to embed single question polls or small surveys right in an email that would map back to our client in the database. Can this be a feature request or does someone know of a workaround for this limitation in EA?

Feature Overview: Filtering and Reporting Creating a filter is the easiest way to easily view a group or segment of your donors or transactions within 'Donor Management' – without the need to search through each record for the information you need. Filters can help you view all donations from a particular campaign or create a list of contacts who gave to your organization in 2023 – but not in 2024. It can even help you determine which contacts live in a specific region (identifying those close to one of your upcoming events) or which donors regularly give over a certain amount. Check out the articles below for help deciding which filters to use, how to create and save filters, how to build more complex filters for various uses, and how to filter and report on a specific set of transactions. Feature Availability This feature is available for all users with access to the Fundraising Essentials package with 'Staff'- level administrative access or higher within 'Donor Management'.Some feat

Dealing with duplicates is a never ending battle. That said, my colleagues and I are wondering what are the different ways individuals and organizations deal with duplicates. What are some examples of either policies or procedures for dealing with duplicates? What are the processes for identifying and responding to duplicates that have proven most effective?

The basic need is to use bulk upload to add dozens of attributions for one contribution. It seems like it’s probably possible but the article I found on attributions leaves quite a bit to speculation and I’m hoping to avoid a lengthy trial and error process and having someone manually enter 80+ attributions. If you’ve done this and have a sample spreadsheet or some guidance, I’d love to hear from you! Background: We’re a small organization in Alaska, with one really new development person and maximum of one year of experience in EA for the most senior of us. Alaska is notorious for its Permanent Fund Dividend — Alaska residents receive dividend checks every October from a fund seeded by oil money — and several years ago the Pick.Click.Give. program was created, allowing folks to pledge and donate money from their dividend to Alaska nonprofits. Organizations receive the donations as one single check, along with a spreadsheet of the individual donors. Thanks for sharing your wisdom!

We get an emailed “donations report” to several board members every time someone donates. How can I change the email addresses that this report goes to? I can find settings for it nowhere in Network for Good. As personnel and board members change, I’d like to make sure that it isn’t going to anyone who is no longer with the organization. The email comes from noreply@networkforgood.com.

Hi, when entering a contact history is there a way to edit the  “contacted how” dropdown menu ?

Hi,We are in the process of transitioning to a new NUCDF website and would like to use the Network for Good Smart Giving Form to accept donations directly through our site.Could you please let us know if an embed code is available for the Smart Giving Form and, if so, how we can access it? We would also appreciate any guidance or instructions for integrating the form into our new website.Thank you for your help!

Step 1: Access Online Actions and Create a new form   To access Online Action Forms in EveryAction, navigate to the left-hand sidebar menu and select Engagement > Communication Tools > Online Actions Click the “Create New Form” button, and choose “Smart Contribution” If you don’t see Online Actions: Use Search for a page in the left-hand navigation Type Online Actions Step 2: Add form details in the Basics page Enter your form title. Make it as descriptive as possible.   Internal Facing Title: Enter an internal name for this form that is only visible to your team.   Donors will continue to see the external form title.    Under “Connect a gateway to accept contributions”, select a designation. If you only have one payment gateway, it will be automatically chosen for you. But if you have multiple gateways, you can choose between Bonterra Pay or Paragon.  Payment methods with each of the gateways include:Bonterra Payments – credit card, ACH, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe Link Par

Hi - I’ve been a user for about 6 months. I used to get regular emails that notified me about upcoming events including office hours and webinars. I noticed I haven’t received any email in several weeks. I really appreciated the notices straight to my inbox. I recently hopped into the community and subscribed to a few groups, but I am wondering how I can ensure I continue to get product update and other emails directly to my inbox? Sorry if this is not the right place to ask, but I figured someone would be able to point me in the right direction. Thank you!

It's been 2 weeks since Note Capture has officially launched with Apricot Mobile — it’s now in open beta! It's the first Que skill in Apricot Mobile, a new app for iPhone and Android built for case managers and outreach workers who spend most of their day in the field. Speak your notes after an interaction, and Que structures them and maps the content directly into your form fields — so details stay accurate and documentation doesn't pile up.  The open beta is available now for U.S.-based organizations, with the app on the App Store and Google Play.Check out the full overview in the help center to see how it works and what to expect.👉 What is Apricot Mobile and Note Capture? Does this solve a documentation challenge your team runs into? Let us know what you think!

Hi EA community! I’m looking for a web designer conversant in the Online Actions pages as used by EveryAction, who could do a small project making our signup pages, petition pages, and donation forms look a bit nicer.Anyone have a connection or recommendation? Comment here ! Thank you!Jeff

Summary: I think having a specific Quiz type of Online Actions form in EveryAction with some added quiz bells, whistles, and functionality could be a killer app! Why: Quizzes are a great way to engage users, keep email engagement high, for acquisition purposes, and a way to involve users even when a legislature is not in session. However, many organizations use a built-for-purpose quiz tool that comes with best practices for quizzes (answers, scores). This creates an extra manual task to import the engagement data back into EveryAction. As quizzes might be around for a long time, the risk of admins not importing this data is high. EveryAction’s Signup Forms can support quizzes, after a fashion. Here’s a recent quiz we built for EDF Action using a Signup Form: https://actnow.edfaction.org/a/farm-bill-quizFeatures that are good: the ability to drop in a merge field for “your answer” on the Thank You page, the ability to map answers and the form to Activist Codes and Source Codes, the answ

The Payment Methods page in the Bonterra Nonprofit Hub allows organization owners to efficiently manage how their organization receives funds. Network for Good now lets you record gifts from donor-advised funds (DAFs) and IRAs as their own payment methods, with the donor and the custodian organization tracked together. Many of you have been tracking these gifts with notes and soft credits, and we heard how much that gets in the way of reporting you can trust. Now you can record a DAF or qualified charitable distribution (QCD) gift the way it actually arrives, and the individual stays the donor.🆕 What’s changingAdd Donation has two new Donation Payment Method options: Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) Distribution and Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). Choosing either one shows an optional custodian field, “DAF Custodian” or “IRA Custodian,” where you can pick an organization or create a new one. You’ll also find new contact filters for donors who’ve given through a DAF or QCD, DAF sponsors, and IRA custodians.👥 Who it affectsNetwork for Good admins and development staff who record offline gifts.🎯 What it means for you Stop usi

(Apricot Administrators)This is the last of four steps to import records from a CSV file. Apricot checks every row before any records are created, and you fix any problems right here. When you reach this step, a progress bar shows while Apricot checks your rows. Step 1 - Read the banner:Red banner — “Action required: validation errors found.” Fix or skip the errors below to continue.Green banner — “Validation passed — ready to import.”The stats row shows Rows Processed, Rows with Errors, Valid Rows, and Rows Skipped. Step 2 - If there are errors, go to the Data validation errors section. The filter tabs at the top group errors by field (for example, “Race (3)”). Each error shows the row number, the failing field, the invalid value, and the error message. Step 3 - Choose one option for each error row:Correct the row: pick a valid value from the dropdown on the failing field, then select Validate. If it passes, the row moves to Valid Rows. Correct the whole field at once: select the pencil
