I’m trying to create a custom, branded theme in the Impact Hub so that we can build report-ready visuals. I can go through the whole process of creating a theme, but when I click Save I just get this error message.

Hey there @Brad Hutchison! Custom themes is a smart idea and it’s definitely something we're considering for the roadmap.

In the meantime, here's what our team recommends that a lot of folks use: Format the look and feel you want on one tile using the Properties panel in the Impact Hub Builder workspace. (Quick note: the Builder workspace requires an Author or Author Pro role with an assigned seat.)

After designing, you can then copy that tile and reuse it across your report. That way you can maintain consistent styling without having to rebuild it each time.

You can check out this help article for more details:

Hope this helps! 🙂

Thanks @Rebekah Eslao, I do use that method too. It’s just confusing because there’s an option to create a custom theme, but no indication that it won’t work until you’ve gone through the process. I spent an hour with our marketing team working on it only to get an error when I clicked Save.

I get why that's confusing! You're right - the option exists but isn't enabled yet at this time. I'm sorry the feature isn't working as expected. We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Our product team is exploring the best way to make this work; I’ll be sure to keep you updated once we hopefully have more information on themes in the future. Thank you for your patience, Brad!
