Hi everyone,

I’m new to the Bonterra community, so apologies if this is a basic question.

I’m looking to start a discussion thread and wanted to make sure I’m doing it in the right way before posting.

The idea is to create a general space where users can:

  • ask questions about Bonterra tools and setup
  • share tips, workflows, and best practices
  • discuss common issues and how others have solved them

Basically something like a central knowledge-sharing thread rather than lots of separate posts.

I’ve seen that this community is quite focused on collaboration and real-world use cases, so I just wanted to check what the preferred structure is for new threads here.

Is there any recommended format for:

  • titles
  • tagging
  • organizing ongoing Q&A threads

Any guidance from experienced members or moderators would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Good morning @williamfarah65

Welcome to the community! What a great question to kick off your community journey😀 Here's a quick guide on what you’re looking to do:

  • Questions about Apricot tools & setup → post in the Apricot Q&A forum! For titles, try to use the feature you're asking about or your actual question (e.g., "Custom Reports" or "How do I set up a recurring form?"
  • Tips, workflows & best practices → head to the Apricot Discussion forum! Titles here can be more general and thematic — think "Summer Preparations" or "Reporting Habits"
  • Tags → always add Apricot as a tag, then you can add related topics like Workflows, Reporting, Forms, etc. to help others find your post
  • If you need a specific perspective → let the community know in your post whether you're looking for insight from a fellow member or a Bonterran

Feel free to start new discussion threads and reply to other members' posts too. Hope this helps, is there anything else you'd like to clarify?

Anyone else have helpful tips to add? 🙂
