If you've seen "Que" pop up in EveryAction and wondered what it is or whether it's worth your time, this one's for you.Que is Bonterra's AI assistant built directly into EveryAction. It's not a separate tool you have to learn or a new platform to log into—it lives inside the workflows you're already using. The idea is simple: instead of navigating menus, building queries manually, or starting every email from a blank page, you tell Que what you need in plain language and it does the heavy lifting. For organizations that feel stretched thin—managing campaigns, stewarding donors, and keeping data clean with limited staff—that kind of efficiency isn't a nice-to-have; it's a real operational advantage. Here are a few places where Que is already making a difference for EveryAction users:Building donation forms is one of the newest entry points. If you're already heading to Online Actions to create a form, you'll now see a "Build with Que" option right there. Clicking it launches you directly
Summary: I think having a specific Quiz type of Online Actions form in EveryAction with some added quiz bells, whistles, and functionality could be a killer app! Why: Quizzes are a great way to engage users, keep email engagement high, for acquisition purposes, and a way to involve users even when a legislature is not in session. However, many organizations use a built-for-purpose quiz tool that comes with best practices for quizzes (answers, scores). This creates an extra manual task to import the engagement data back into EveryAction. As quizzes might be around for a long time, the risk of admins not importing this data is high. EveryAction’s Signup Forms can support quizzes, after a fashion. Here’s a recent quiz we built for EDF Action using a Signup Form: https://actnow.edfaction.org/a/farm-bill-quizFeatures that are good: the ability to drop in a merge field for “your answer” on the Thank You page, the ability to map answers and the form to Activist Codes and Source Codes, the answ

I had an embarrassing intro call with a consultant today when they pointed out we needed an actionable thing on our donate page...While screensharing he pointed out that there was no place to input donation info on our donate page of our website. Apparently when a user is viewing our pages with a VPN turned on, none of our embedded EA forms are visible. Is this an issue others have noticed or experienced? In this particular instance, web browser was Google Chrome and VPN was NordVPN. It seemed to be all embedded EA forms - so not just donate page, but our advocacy actions and event registrations too. Our staff is now taking some screenshots with different combos of browsers and VPNs that we have access to.Fortunately, I don't think it impacts our typical supporter - since we have an older donor demographic. Not ideal if any percentage of people going to our website cant even see a form for an advocacy action or donating. Yikes!
Is there an Idea Bank or a place to request functionality? For example, I would like to set-up Automatic Soft-Credits. For example, when a specific Donor Advised Fund makes a donation I want to automatically soft credit the advising donor. I have a large number of these types of arrangements. There is a lot of places to forget or miss adding the soft credit. It would be best to automatically set these arrangements up on the records themselves.
Hello! I am writing this message a little out of desperation to see if I can get the attention of someone in Bonterra - because I’ve sent multiple requests to the Billing through Bonterra’s support portal (https://www.bonterratech.com/support), and have also emailed collections@bonterratech.com and responded to the emails we received and have not received a response from anyone through any of these methods in months. Last year, we received two separate invoices for the same service. We paid the first one which was for the correct amount, and explained to Bonterra that the second invoice was an error - since it was for the incorrect amount and we had already paid the annual subscription a few months prior. Someone from Bonterra emailed us and confirmed that the invoice was an error, and that on their end there was no past due amount. That it was a portal issue, and that they would work on fixing it. It’s been months and we are still receiving threatening emails that if we don’t pay in 1
Does anyone have experience in requesting and receiving a file of your organization’s data from Bonterra without purchasing pipeline cloud?
Hi! So we have this custom report set up of all our new contacts from the past week that gets sent via email every Monday. Lately we’ve noticed that the report has been missing 75% of the actual new contacts that come in - the report only catches certain form submissions and not contacts that came in via our Mobilize events. That missing 75% isn’t just our Mobilize signups as well. Even if I strip all filters bare and just leave in the saved search I have for all new contacts last week, the numbers are still different:If I run that saved search of new contacts last week = it shows 71 contactsIf I run the report that includes that same saved search = it shows 25 contactsIf I run that saved search again but with just the Mobilize events they still appear, which means they’re being caught by the saved search but not the report. What’s even more interesting is if I filter that report more to set the results for just submissions this year and Date created within this year it shows 25. If I
In EveryAction, we have saved reports for our financial reconciliation, and Revenue Stream is a field that we use to help with matching contributions to our budget lines. It seems that the default reconciliation report and the ones we’ve saved from that template no longer allow us to see Revenue Stream in the columns of the report. Is this intentional, or are we missing something?

The results of an Address Report on all contacts had many rows with a missing ‘Street Address’ value, but the city, state and zip are present. The street address is populated when looking at the individual contact record. The addresses I reviewed appear to be valid.
If you're still running older donation forms, it may be time to look at EveryAction's Optimized Contribution Form (OCF). OCFs are modern, mobile-first donation pages built with best practices already baked in with no coding required. Features like Recurring Upsell (which invites one-time donors to upgrade to monthly giving at checkout), Cart Abandonment nudges (which capture email addresses and remind donors to complete incomplete gifts), flexible payment options including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal/Venmo, and a streamlined four-step setup make OCFs one of the fastest ways to meaningfully improve your donors' giving experience. The good news is that optimizing your donation form experience doesn't have to be a big lift. It usually requires a fresh look. For OCFs and Traditional Contribution Forms, Optimized Ask is one of the highest-value features to make sure you're taking advantage of. It uses predictive models to personalize suggested donation amounts for individual donors base
Our organization is considering signing a contract with CLC Consulting to help us with a few things, such as setting up better tracking of our acquisitions and improving our re-engagement of inactive contacts. Does anyone have experience working with them? Would you recommend them?

My understanding is that if multiple contacts share the same email, Targeted Email and Send an email in a workflow only sends an email to the contact who most recently had that email address added to their record. If that contact is not included in a saved search for a workflow due to suppressions, e.g. marked as deceased, or their email is marked as unsubscribed, will that mean that no one with that email address will receive an email? Or does it send to the next most recent?
I have a client who would like to create a custom analytics dashboard specifically focused on grant reporting. In creating the dashboard one of the few filters available is “date” but there’s no indication of what dates are being filtered? In their use case, when they create the grants dashboard and attempt to use the “date” filter at the top to filter by award date (for example) it doesn’t work because the filter must be using some other date. Like changing the date parameters in any way (last year, last week, yesterday) never changes the analytics charts at all. Because clearly whatever “date” is being filtered, is something completely unrelated to grants. But what “date” IS being filtered? we’ve asked EveryAction/Bonterra support this question several times via a ticket/thread that goes back to June 2025… and never received an answer.Ideally, I would love if Bonterra could relabel that date filter to clarify what it is, as the generic “date” has confused and frustrated my client (an
I’m trying to get ahold of our account rep to talk about our contract and making changes to the modules we have. I’ve sent emails in April and May to the person who previously was our rep (not sure if they still are) with no response (not even an autoreply) and have also submitted support requests which have garnered no response. Feeling incredibly frustrated I can’t get ahold of anyone.
Hi Everyone,I was wondering if anyone has found a way to download a list from EA that includes a column indicating tags.I was recently asked to download a list from EA, and I wanted to include a column showing which specific tag each person had.The way we use tags in our organization is through a hierarchy. For example, we have a main “2026” tag with subtags for events our organization hosted or participated in.In this particular case, I created a list by selecting everyone with the overall “2026” tag. The list generated correctly, but when I went to download it, I wanted to include a column showing which subtag within the 2026 hierarchy each person belonged to.The only workaround I could find was to create separate lists for each individual subtag, but that would require running a large number of searches.Has anyone encountered this issue or found a better solution for something similar?Thank you in advance!
We have been using Every Action for about 3 years, 1.5 I have been utilizing it as a staff member. We were not utilizing all tracking under each Source Code to its full extent - in some instances incorrectly. I am going to be optimizing all of our source codes going into our next FY. We will start with our Impact Report / Appeal as a starting point. I want to track all levels of giving and am wanting to have potentially 10 source codes for each as outlined below. I am seeking feedback, thoughts on how others are tracking for say donors in all of these categories across both DM and Online. Individual, Corporate, Municipal, Foundations, Community Organizations. I am thinking at least ten codes because I want to pull reporting easily instead of my normal practice of pulling out the few non individual donors each time I report. Thoughts on this approach? - below is the individual donor example.Source: SP26_Impact Report_DMCampaign & Campaign Type: Acquisition: SP26 ImpactChannel &
Good morning. I am running some extensive analyses of all of my organization’s online forms. I am reaching out as a category that is important (tribute type) does not display once I use the group by function in report manager. I wanted to know whether or not the columns displayed on a report when utilizing the group by function can be customized. Thank you!
I have found that reports based on saved searches are not immediately updating themselves and get stuck with results from a prior report run even though the searches themselves return accurate updated results and I don’t know why this is happening. Happened most recently today: I createe a custom report template based on a saved search several days ago It ran perfectly and the results were correct. The saved search produced 3 hits and the report had 3 rows My saved search was based on an staff assignments. I did a bulk upload today that applied staff assignments to additional records I reran the report and expect there to be 79 rows. There’s the same 3 rows as before I ran the saved search. There are 79 contacts as expected So my report is stuck with the old results from over a week ago (i.e. the result it had when I first and last ran the report). If there’s a built in lag it seems significant (in this particular case, the upload that updated my saved search result was over an ho

Hi! Does anyone know how to add an additional payment method option? We occasionally receive donations through QCDs, and having that as an option would be very helpful for tracking and reporting purposes. The current options listed are: Apple Pay, Cash, Check, Credit Card, Debit Card, EFTs, Electronic Pay System, Google Pay, In-Kind, Money Order, Stock, Unknown, Venmo. Thank you in advance!
