Premiums are thank-you gifts offered to donors at specific contribution levels, encouraging larger donations while showing appreciation for support.

Step 1: Access the Premiums section

  1. Create or edit a contribution form in Online Actions
  2. On the Build Page step, scroll to the "Premiums" section
  3. If you don't see this section, click "Add a Section" and select "Premiums"
  4. The Premiums section will now appear in your form editor

Step 2: Configure Premium settings

  1. Enter a heading for the Premiums section (e.g., "Thank You Gifts")
  2. Add descriptive text explaining the premiums to donors
  3. Choose whether premiums are:

Optional - Donors can decline premiums

Required - All qualifying donors receive premiums

  4. Set shipping options if physical items are offered

Step 3: Add individual premiums

  1. Click "Add Premium" to create your first premium offer
  2. Enter the premium name (e.g., "Logo T-shirt")
  3. Set the minimum contribution amount required (e.g., $50)
  4. Add a description of the premium
  5. Upload an image of the premium if available
  6. Click "Save" to add the premium

Step 4: Add multiple premiums (optional)

  1. Repeat Step 3 to add additional premiums at different giving levels
  2. Arrange premiums in order of increasing contribution amount
  3. Consider offering a range of premiums at different price points
  4. Make sure premium values comply with tax and legal requirements

Step 5: Test and publish your form

  1. Preview your form to see how premiums appear to donors
  2. Test the selection process for each premium
  3. Verify that premiums only become available at the correct contribution amounts
  4. Publish your form when ready
  5. Monitor which premiums are most popular to refine your offerings

@Happie Pingol

My client found this article but has been unable to do

Step 3 Substep 6: Set any additional options like sizes or colors

They find they must set up a separate new premium for each variation of the premium

For example Tshirts -- the instructions imply you set up a Tshirt as a premium and then from within that you can “set additional options” like tshirt size S, M, L, XL, etc.  But they are finding they need to set up each tshirt size as an individual premium

  • Tshirt Size Small
  • Tshirt Size Medium
  • etc

Can you clarify?
