If you want to see how a specific supporter has responded to your emails — including whether they opened, clicked, or unsubscribed — you can find that history directly on their contact record.
Before You Begin
- You have access to contact records in EveryAction
- The contact you're looking up has been sent at least one Targeted Email
Time estimate: 2–3 minutes
Step 1: Open the Contact Record
Start from the EveryAction Home Page.
- Search for the contact you want to review.
- Open their contact record.
- Make sure you are in the All Details view.
Step 2: Expand the Targeted Emails Section
- Scroll down to find the Targeted Emails section.
- Expand the section to see the email history for this contact.
For each email, you'll see one of the following response statuses:
- Sent — The contact received the email but did not take any action.
- Read — The contact opened the email, with the date it was opened.
- Clicked — The contact clicked a link in the email, with the date of the click.
- Bounced — The email could not be delivered, with the date of the bounce.
- Unsubscribed — The contact opted out, with the date of unsubscribe.
At the bottom of this section, you'll also see a summary showing:
- Last Sent
- Last Opened
- Last Clicked
Step 3: Check Email Address Subscription Status (Optional)
If you want to review all email addresses on file for this contact and their current subscription statuses, open the Email section (All Details view) or navigate to the Overview page.
