Set Up Mobile Messaging Without Contacting Support
📱 Set Up Mobile Messaging Without Contacting SupportYou can now get set up on mobile messaging directly in EveryAction, no need to contact support or your account executive.Previously, getting a mobile messaging number required submitting a form to Bonterra, who then managed the setup and carrier verification on your behalf. That process averaged 30 days with no visibility into where things stood. Now, you can complete the entire registration yourself in a single guided flow and go from zero to a verified, sending toll-free number in under 10 days. What's newFrom the mobile messaging page in EveryAction, you'll see a guided Begin Setup flow if you don't yet have a number provisioned. Clicking through launches Twilio's compliance form directly inside EveryAction, where you'll enter your business details, EIN, authorized representative information, and opt-in proof. Required compliance messages — opt-in, opt-out, and help keyword responses — are generated during setup and saved automatically to your committee details page.Once submitted, Twilio will review your application within 3–5 business days. You can track your status (Submitted, Pending, Approved, or Rejected) directly in EveryAction, and you'll also receive email updates. If your application is rejected, you'll see Twilio's specific rejection reasons in the UI and can correct and resubmit from the same page. Resubmitting within 7 days of rejection puts you in a priority review queue.Who this applies toThis feature is available to EveryAction customers who have mobile messaging included in their package and have not yet set up a number. Customers already provisioned with a number are unaffected. This flow supports toll-free number registration only — short codes, 10DLC, and number porting are not currently supported via self-service. Contact support for those setups. Before you beginMake sure you have your exact legal business name, business registration number (EIN or CBN), a valid business email, and a compliant opt-in form ready before starting.
