🔗 OneCause Event Data Now Syncs Automatically into EveryActionThe OneCause → EveryAction integration is now available, bringing special event fundraising data from OneCause directly into EveryAction through an automated, hourly sync. Previously, organizations using both platforms had to manually export data from OneCause and import it into EveryAction after every event, a time-consuming process that delayed donor follow-up and left event participation data siloed from CRM workflows.Once enabled by your account team, the integration runs in the background every hour with no action required from staff. Contacts, events, event sign-ups, paid contributions, in-kind donations, and fundraising page activity all flow from OneCause into EveryAction automatically. Each synced event generates a source code using the event name, which appears on all related contribution records and is available as a filter and grouping option in Contribution Reports and Financial Batch Manager. Contributions are grouped into daily batches labeled "OneCause Import" for easy identification. Contact matching uses OneCause Supporter ID first, then email address, to link incoming records to existing contacts or create new ones.This means organizations can now move from event execution in OneCause directly into donor follow-up and stewardship in EveryAction without any manual reconciliation in between. Staff can segment contacts by event participation, filter contributions by source code to analyze event revenue, and act on giving activity faster, closing the gap between event day and meaningful engagement.Help Articles 

📋 Track Which Script Was Used for Every Contact AttemptNGP VAN now records which script was used during each canvassing or phone banking contact attempt. Previously, there was no direct link between a contact attempt and the script delivered during that interaction, leaving organizations unable to connect outreach activity to specific messaging. That gap is now closed.When a canvasser or phone banker makes a contact attempt in MiniVAN or a VPB with a script active, VAN automatically logs the Script ID on that attempt record. No action is required from staff in the field, it happens in the background. The Contact History Report gains a new Script column, filter, and grouping option, giving data staff and field directors a native reporting surface for script-level analysis.This means organizations can now go beyond tracking whether contact was made to understanding what message was delivered and to whom, enabling script coverage analysis, message type distinctions (GOTV, persuasion, accountability), and script effectiveness evaluation across a target universe.Help Articles  

🔍 Turf Cutting Just Got a Whole Lot Smarter 🔎Field organizers and data directors using EveryAction/NGP VAN can now generate walkable, deployment-ready turfs in minutes, not hours. The improved auto-cutter uses a smarter algorithm that respects real-world geographic boundaries like highways, rivers, rail lines, and parks, so the turfs your canvassers receive actually reflect the streets they'll walk.To generate turfs, simply open the Cut Turf tool, select the new Auto-cut option, and enter your target address count or number of turfs. The system handles the rest, covering your full area with no white space, no uncrossable boundaries, and shapes ready to deploy or refine on the spot.No action is required before launch. 🏃 EveryAction Is Ready for Election SeasonAs the 2026 election cycle ramps up, we've made targeted performance improvements to two of the most heavily used tools during GOTV operations: the Turf List page and the MiniVAN import pipeline.The Turf List page is used by data staff to manage canvassing turfs. We've optimized how the page queries and paginates data so it stays responsive under peak load.The MiniVAN import pipeline created many small batch jobs per canvasser commit. We've consolidated these into single batches, reducing system load and speeding up how quickly canvassing data flows back into VAN after field staff submit.These improvements are live as of the July 9, 2026 release and require no action from customers or staff. 🧩 Smarter Form Discovery in Online Actions with Queand  Rebranded Contribution Forms 🧩Bonterra has made it easier to find and build fundraising forms directly within your Online Actions workflow. Que’s form builder is now accessible inside Online Actions, so you can create a Smart Contribution Form right at the point of action.To make form selection clearer, contribution form types have also been rebranded. The Optimized Contribution Form is now called "Smart Contribution Form," and the classic contribution form is now called "Custom Contribution Form." Reports, exports, and filters will reflect the updated name. The purpose of this change is to remove outdated “home” language and keep phone type labels simple and consistent.  What changed? Phone Type: Personal (Home) is now labeled Personal. The meaning of the field has not changed. No data has been removed or altered. No action is required. Regulations.gov Guided Copy/Paste Workflow Now Available Release Date: February 12, 2026Who This Applies To: Organizations using the Advocacy Online Action form  What’s happening?  The Regulations.gov site no longer allows outside systems (including ours) to automatically submit public comments on behalf of supporters.This update simply changes the final step of how comments are submitted.Supporters will now: See pre-written comment text Click a Copy Comment button Follow a direct link to Regulations.gov Paste and submit the comment themselves This ensures you can continue running federal public comment campaigns without interruption.  Why this matters for you?If you run advocacy campaigns tied to federal rules: You can still launch and manage comment campaigns. Supporters receive clear instructions. You can still track advocacy activity in your reports. Even though submission is no longer automatic, supporters can still take meaningful action—and your organization can continue driving impact.  What changed in the system?This update: Keeps Regulations.gov available as a delivery option in Advocacy forms Adds a Copy Comment button on the form and confirmation page Updates confirmation page and confirmation emails with step-by-step submission instructions Includes a direct link to the correct Regulations.gov comment page No automated submission happens behind the scenes anymore. New Feature: Collect Waivers Directly in Online Actions Forms  Managing volunteer and event participation just got easier! You can now add Waivers directly to your Online Actions forms and collect either typed or hand-drawn signatures at the point of submission. This means you can seamlessly capture important acknowledgements such as:  Liability release forms  Media release forms  Background check acknowledgements  No more juggling paper waivers or separate signature tools — everything is stored digitally and tied directly to each contact’s record.  How It Works When you build a new Online Actions form, you’ll see an option to add a Waiver section. Simply enter your legal text, choose whether to require typed or hand-drawn signatures (or both), and publish the form. Once someone signs and submits, their waiver is automatically saved as a PDF in their contact record, ensuring you always have a copy on file.  Stay on Top of Waiver Tracking Reporting is built right in:  Use filters in the Online Activity, Ticketed Guest, and Stories reports to see who has signed.  Add a “Waiver Signed” column to make tracking simple.  Export signed waiver PDFs in bulk when you need a full set of records.   Easy Access on Contact Records From the contact record, you can quickly check whether someone signed a waiver in their Activity Feed.
