If you previously filtered or reported on “Personal (Home),” those records are now labeled “Personal.” What this update does NOT doFor clarity: It does not change how phone numbers behave. It does not change Device Type. It does not affect exports or reports beyond the updated label. It does not require any updates to your workflows. This is a naming update only. What should you do next?No action is required. If you use saved reports or filters, you may simply see the updated label moving forward. Regulations.gov Guided Copy/Paste Workflow Now Available Release Date: February 12, 2026Who This Applies To: Organizations using the Advocacy Online Action form What’s happening? The Regulations.gov site no longer allows outside systems (including ours) to automatically submit public comments on behalf of supporters. This update simply changes the final step of how comments are submitted.Supporters will now: See pre-written comment text Click a Copy Comment button Follow a direct link to Regulations.gov Paste and submit the comment themselves This ensures you can continue running federal public comment campaigns without interruption. Why this matters for you?If you run advocacy campaigns tied to federal rules: You can still launch and manage comment campaigns. Supporters receive clear instructions. You can still track advocacy activity in your reports. Even though submission is no longer automatic, supporters can still take meaningful action—and your organization can continue driving impact. What changed in the system? This update: Keeps Regulations.gov available as a delivery option in Advocacy forms Adds a Copy Comment button on the form and confirmation page Updates confirmation page and confirmation emails with step-by-step submission instructions Includes a direct link to the correct Regulations.gov comment page No automated submission happens behind the scenes anymore. Supporters complete the final submission directly on Regulations.gov. What should you do next?If you’re launching a new campaign continue setting up your Advocacy form as usual: Connect your form to a Regulations.gov document. Add your comment text. Publish your form. The updated workflow is already built in. Not sure if this applies to you? From the EveryAction home page: Go to Engagement > Communication Tools > Online Actions If you see Advocacy forms listed, this update applies to you. If you don’t see Online Actions, use the Search for a page field in the left sidebar and type “Online Actions.” How the supporter experience works now? A supporter fills out your Advocacy form. They see pre-written (or customizable) comment text. They click Copy Comment. They’re taken directly to the official Regulations.gov comment page. They paste their comment and submit it. Confirmation pages and emails now guide them clearly through these steps. What this update does not do?For clarity: It does not restore automatic comment submission. It does not guarantee a supporter completes the final submission. It is not a new long-term integration with Regulations.gov. It is a simple, guided workaround that keeps your campaigns running smoothly. Need step-by-step help?Start here: Understanding Regulations.gov in Advocacy Forms How do I connect an Advocacy Form to Regulations.gov? How do I configure Supporter Comments for Regulations.gov? In summary You can continue running federal public comment campaigns.Your supporters can still take action. The process is slightly different—but simple and clearly guide
OverviewThis release includes one enhancement to make Connect participant registration more reliable, along with three fixes that improve data accuracy and day-to-day workflows. EnhancementConnect | Retry email validation timeoutsAdmins can now quickly retry email validation for participants whose registration emails timed out. Selecting this option resubmits all email addresses that previously timed out within that Participant Type. In most cases, retrying resolves the issue and allows the email address to validate successfully — helping participants validate their registration successfully. If timeouts continue after retrying, our Support team can help investigate further. FixesIntake | UK date formattingDates entered using the UK field format in Intake forms now save correctly. Submissions will remain in dd/mm/yyyy format instead of converting to the US format. Attendance Tracker | Terms using Specific DatesEdits to Terms that use Specific Dates now appear correctly when taking daily attendance. This improvement is especially helpful when switching a Term from Recurring to Specific Dates. To prevent confusion, only Recurring Terms will now reference Day(s) Off settings.
